Accounts Receivable Lead

Location: Sacramento, CA
Pay Rate: $27-$30 per hour

Ledgent, a Roth Staffing Company, is partnering with a great company, to find an experienced Accounts Receivable Lead. This role goes beyond traditional A/R responsibilities-we're seeking a professional with strong accounting knowledge and a passion for improving receivable trends through analysis and collaboration.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the Accounts Receivable team to ensure success.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and post daily A/R payments accurately.
  • Assist with process improvements for posting cash receipts using data imports.
  • Reconcile customer job details and ensure proper posting of cash receipts.
  • Post revenue for multiple entities, ensuring compliance with internal controls.
  • Prepare weekly cash-flow analysis.
  • Research and analyze deferred revenue; identify aging for all payments.
  • Collaborate with operations to reduce cash chargebacks and improve timelines.
  • Analyze A/R aging reports, determine project status, and compile detailed metrics.
  • Assist with collections and legal matters as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Accounts Receivable experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency (formulas, dashboards).
  • Familiarity with an ERP system is a plus.
  • Highly organized, innovative, and able to research problems independently.
  • Flexible and willing to assist with projects and administrative tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
